Spraying clothes and securing liquids

I have a little over 24 hours before I need to have my packing completed, and I think I still have a bit of a way to go. Saturday, my wonderful parents sprayed and hanged my clothes out to dry so that I will not get eaten up by mosquitoes and other things I do not want to bite me while in Kenya. You'd think all of the medications and vaccinations would have me immune to EVERYTHING, but you can't be too careful.

There are so many sacrifices one has to make when deciding to participate in a mission--the expense of the trip itself, being poked and prodded, figuring out what to pack, leaving loved ones behind, etc., etc. But those things are such a small price to pay when you look at even the tiniest impact you will make. Sure I will be leaving my precious little boy behind for 11 days, but he is the least of my concerns. I know that he will be well fed and cared for and loved while I am gone. But I am going to help feed and love on little ones who don't get it from Mommy and Daddy because they have neither. I am leaving my nice, warm, spacious home to help build a home for a widow/er and children that is probably the size of my garage. it's the little things that matter. Christ said, "40 The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’" (Matthew 25:40). Ministering to these people we will come into contact with in Kenya is like ministering to Him. We are doing GREATER!
